I'm back at Old Chicago again. Because they have a list of margarita options, I went with their basic Agave Margarita. Last time I was at Old Chicago I was disappointed in the taste of the tequila in my drink. Different location, same disappointment.
This has very little tequila taste at all. The worst part? It tastes of straight sour. Enough so that I made the sour face taking a drink. In fact, there is so much sour mix to tequila in here that your lips dry out after you've had a sip! This margarita is made with El Jimador tequila, triple sec, and lime sour.
I believe after this second attempt, I won't be ordering any more margaritas from Old Chicago. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
I give this margarita 1 shot out of 5. This was not appetizing at all.
