Black Raspberry Margarita

We're out today for my husbands birthday. We're heading to the horse track later so Old Chicago was a convenient place to have lunch/dinner. Naturally when you head to Old Chicago, pizza is popular fare and that's what we had. My husband as usual enjoyed a beer and I decided on the Black Raspberry Margarita. I was in the mood for something other than the average margarita. 

This margarita was made with Cabo Wabo Reposado, Chambourd, and lime juice. As with most super sweet margaritas this one had a sugar rim. I will say it had a nice raspberry flavor.... But I tasted more of the Chambourd than I did the tequila. It had an after-taste of tequila which helped. For those who like a super sweet margarita, this will satisfy your taste buds. I happen to be in the crowd that likes a little bit of tang in their margarita so this would be a reorder but not an all-night-drinking margarita.
